EJB Wins Saxophone Cutting Contest

A few weeks back, the Capitol Hill Jazz Jam held it's 3rd Saxophone Cutting Contest. The judges were all veterans of the DC jazz scene and remarkable saxophonists -- Marshall Keys, Tedd Baker, and Davey Yarborough. Elijah had previously come in 2nd place in the contest, but this time around he came in 1st! Here is "Isfahan" by Duke Ellington & Billy Strayhorn, which Elijah performed for the Ballads round of the contest.

Thanks to Aaron Myers, Herb Scott, Michael Dressner, and the rest of the Capitol Hill Jazz Jam team for curating such a wonderful event!
